3 Reasons Why You're Losing Customers if Your Website Isn't Mobile-Responsive

Every business, no matter how small, should have a mobile-responsive website.
3 reasons why you're losing mobile traffic if your website isn't mobile-responsive
Have you ever walked down a New York City street and seen the number of people using their phone while walking? (Don't do it. It's a good way to get run over.)

Or how about the last time you went to Starbucks? Did you notice how many people were looking at their phones as they drank their Cocoa Cloud Macchiato?

The truth is....people use their phones a lot and one of the things those people are doing are looking at websites. These potential customers are asking questions like:
  • Where should we go out to dinner?
  • Where is the closest dry cleaners?
  • What's a good recipe for pot roast? (I actually have the best recipe ever! Leave a comment if you want it.)

If you have a business, then you solve people's problems one way or another. And when people are searching for an answer to their problem, you don't want to lead them to a website that looks terrible on a phone, because if you do, they'll leave.

Here are three reasons why your small business needs to have a mobile-responsive website:

  1. A mobile-responsive website can be accessed by customers on the go from their phone so they can see whether your business is a place they'd like to visit, increasing traffic to your small business.
  2. Websites are often found through listings in Google Maps or Yelp. Having a mobile-responsive website gives your small business more credibility.
  3. Google frowns upon websites that aren't mobile responsive, so you won't do as well in a search if your site isn't mobile friendly. (This is one of 8 things that your website needs to make Google happy. Get my free download to learn the other seven!)

How to Know If Your Website Is Mobile-Responsive

So you're wondering, how do I know if my website is mobile-responsive?
The simplest way to figure it out is to look at your website from a phone.
It should look like this:
A mobile-responsive website looks much better on a phone
A mobile-responsive website
And not this...
A non-mobile-responsive website is hard to read on a phone
Non-mobile-responsive website
On the non-mobile-responsive website, you have to pinch and zoom and swipe back and forth to see all the text. No one wants to do that.

If you really want to know how mobile-friendly your website is, just ask Google. They are the one we are all trying to please, so we might as well see what they think about our site.

It's super easy to use. Just enter your website address (the URL) and click Test URL. It takes a bit of time to analyze your website, but soon you'll get results.
Google results: Page is mobile friendly
If your website isn't mobile-friendly, don't despair. All Weebly website templates are mobile-friendly, so redesign your website in Weebly and you're good to go.

Apparently it seems that website design and development is easy. But it is fact that everything depends on choosing a web designing company. It is really a waste of time to take the headache to take the responsibility on own self. Better buy a package at affordable cost. But to know how to select a web design company, you have to follow a web design directory is the point I noted here. Let's see how.
